Semarang, February 10, 2026 — Jurnal Gizi Indonesia (JGI) has once again achieved a notable accomplishment by maintaining its SINTA Rank 2 (S2) accreditation for the publication period Volume 13 Number 1 (2024) to Volume 17 Number 2 (2028). This achievement reflects JGI’s consistent commitment to upholding high standards of quality and integrity in scientific publishing in the fields of nutrition and health.

The SINTA Rank 2 accreditation was granted based on the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, No. 295/C/C3/KPT/2026, dated January 2, 2026.
This achievement is the result of the collective hard work, dedication, and strong collaboration among the editorial team, reviewers, and contributing authors, supported by the Department of Nutrition, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Diponegoro. Such collaboration has been instrumental in maintaining robust editorial governance, ensuring the quality of scientific content, and sustaining the continuity of JGI publications.
In addition to strengthening its national accreditation, Jurnal Gizi Indonesia is currently preparing for submission to Scopus indexing. This strategic initiative includes enhancing article quality, strengthening editorial and peer-review standards, and advancing the internationalization of the journal. It is expected that these efforts will enable JGI to be indexed in Scopus, thereby further reinforcing its academic reputation and global visibility.
