
Semarang, January 25, 2026 — In commemoration of the 66th National Nutrition Day (NND) 2026, lecturers from the Department of Nutrition, Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University (UNDIP), together with students of the Master of Nutrition Science Program, carried out a community service activity in the form of free nutrition and health screenings at the Car Free Day (CFD) Sikatak UNDIP, Sunday morning (January 25).

The activity aligns with the theme of the 66th National Nutrition Day, “Fulfill Balanced Nutrition from Local Foods”, with the slogan “Healthy Starts from My Plate”. This theme emphasizes the importance of meeting balanced nutritional needs through the utilization of diverse, nutritious, safe, and sustainable local food sources as the foundation of individual and family health.
Through the slogan “Healthy Starts from My Plate”, the public was encouraged to recognize that good health begins with daily food choices. Individuals are expected to arrange their meals according to the principles of balanced nutrition—consisting of carbohydrates, protein sources, vegetables, and fruits, while limiting sugar, salt, and fat intake—as a preventive measure against nutritional problems and non-communicable diseases.
The activity, which started at 6:00 a.m. WIB, was attended by 75 members of the general public participating in CFD activities. The services provided included anthropometric measurements, basic health screenings (blood glucose, uric acid, and cholesterol), as well as nutrition counseling delivered directly by lecturers and graduate students.
This community service program involved 11 lecturers from the Department of Nutrition, Faculty of Medicine, UNDIP, namely Gemala Anjani, S.P.,M.Si., PhD.; Dr. Etika Ratna Noer,S.Gz,M.Si; Ahmad Syauqy, S.Gz., M.P.H., Ph.D., Dietisien; Dr. Fitriyono Ayustaningwarno, STP., M.Si; Dr. Ninik Rustanti,STP,M.Si.; Prof. Dr. Diana Nur Afifah, S.TP.,M.Si; Adriyan Pramono, S.Gz., M.Si., PhD; Angga Rizqiawan, S.Gz., M.Si.; Ayu Rahadiyanti, S.Gz., MPH; Rachma Purwanti, SKM., M.Gizi.; Syafira Noor Pratiwi, S.Gz., M.Gz., and was supported by 14 students of the Master of Nutrition Science Program who actively assisted in health examinations and participant guidance.





The strong enthusiasm of the community was evident from the high level of participation throughout the screening and counseling sessions. In addition to receiving health screening results, participants were provided with personalized nutrition education and recommendations tailored to their individual health conditions, including practical advice on balanced diets based on local food sources.
CFD Sikatak UNDIP is a public space activity regularly held every Sunday morning in the Diponegoro University Tembalang area. The event serves as a platform for the community to engage in physical activities, socialize, and access educational programs and public health services in a vehicle-free environment.
Through this initiative, the Department of Nutrition, Faculty of Medicine, UNDIP reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the National Nutrition Day campaign while fulfilling the university’s Tridharma, particularly in community service. It is hoped that similar activities will continue to be conducted sustainably to enhance public awareness and improve overall community health.
