Department of Nutrition Holds Annual Work Meeting to Formulate 2026 KPI Achievement Strategy

Jepara, February 15, 2026 — The Department of Nutrition, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Diponegoro held its Annual Work Meeting to formulate strategic plans for achieving the 2026 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The three-day event took place from Friday to Sunday, February 13–15, 2026, at Hotel Horison Antawirya Jepara.

Horison Inn Antawirya is a business unit of UNDIP MAJU in collaboration with PT Metropolitan Golden Management – Horison Hotels Group, established to provide quality accommodation within the Universitas Diponegoro area. The facility supports various academic and institutional activities while strengthening the university’s integrated service ecosystem.

Designed in a workshop format, the meeting was attended by department leaders, heads of study programs, faculty members, and administrative staff. The annual meeting serves as a strategic forum to evaluate the department’s performance in the previous year and to formulate concrete action plans to support the achievement of the 2026 KPIs.

The event officially opened on Friday (February 13) with the singing of the Indonesian national anthem and an opening prayer. The Head of the Department of Nutrition, Gemala Anjani, S.P., M.Si., Ph.D., emphasized the importance of synergy among all department members in responding to the dynamic challenges of higher education. She highlighted that KPI achievement should not merely be seen as an administrative target, but as a reflection of the sustainable implementation of the university’s tri dharma missions.

Remarks from the Faculty of Medicine were delivered by the Vice Dean II, Dr. Nuryanto, S.Gz., M.Gizi., who expressed full support for the department’s strategic initiatives in strengthening governance and institutional performance targets.

The first evening agenda was dedicated to a team-building session. All lecturers and staff participated in a communal dinner followed by interactive group games designed to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. This activity aimed to provide refreshing moments while reinforcing solidarity and strengthening the bond among faculty members and administrative staff within the Department of Nutrition. The renewed sense of togetherness is expected to serve as a strong foundation for achieving the 2026 KPIs.

On the second day, discussions focused on strategic planning and program formulation. Participants were divided into several working groups representing different units: Department management (finance, academic support units, and library), the Undergraduate and Dietitian Professional Programs, the Master’s Program in Nutrition, the Laboratory Unit, and the Cooperation Unit. Each group identified achievements, challenges, and strategic steps to support the 2026 KPI targets.

The discussion outcomes were presented in plenary sessions to obtain collective feedback and refinement. These sessions served as a platform for reflection and alignment in determining priority programs, strengthening governance, optimizing laboratory performance, improving academic services, and expanding national and international collaborations.

On the final day (February 15), participants concluded the meeting by formulating key takeaways and follow-up action plans. Each unit committed to implementing the agreed programs with clear performance indicators and timelines.

Through this Annual Work Meeting, the Department of Nutrition reaffirmed its commitment to continuously enhancing the quality of education, research, and community service. The formulation of the 2026 KPI achievement strategy marks a concrete step toward strengthening the department’s reputation and contributing to the advancement of nutrition science at both national and international levels.
